Under load (bush hog),3pth arms will not lift implement. Without load, arms go up and down fine. Just don't ask it to lift anything.
Pump good ( it has a loader that works fine)
Lift cylinder good ( I took lines off cylinder and put them on a remote cylinder will not lift them under load)
Page 86 Operators Manual, Hydraulic System Troubleshooting, 1st section.
Items 1,2,&5 check out fine.
Item 3 Bypass valve stuck, Remedy Clean, polish or replace pin valve.
My Question: Where is the Bypass valve ( exact location please)
Item 4 Pressure Relief Valve dirty, damaged, or out of adjustment
Remedy Clean, inspect or adjust as required.
My Question: Where is the Presure Relief Valve located (exact
location please).
I assume both these items are located on the hydraulic valve assembly that the selector levers go into. I need to where and how to get them out.

Before you start tearing into the hydraulic system, I suggest a little more diagnosis.
I doubt it's the by-pass valve, if it was bad you'd have FEL problems too.
If the pressure relief valve is bad it will cause the same problem you are having, but so will a bad seal in either of the control valve or lift cylinder.
From what I recall though, the relief valve is isolated from the control valve and lift cylinder when the engine is off. In other words the 3pth is pilot valve protected.
If you can, put an implement on the 3pth and use something else to lift it, then shut off the tractor and see if it stays up on it's own or lowers back down.
Best of luck. ....

Murf:
Good call. Arms held with weight. Some odd plumbing went on with the loader install. I chained the bucket and lift rams and the pressure then went to the 3pth. Will isolate loader.
Odd little duck, this tractor. Its no start situation was too much oil in the governor housing and a missing popet spring in the injector pump. Starts right up now and thumps away.
Thanks for your interest.

AHA!!! LOL
It's the FEL control valve then, it's plumbed wrong.
Sort that out and the problem will go away.
Best of luck. ....
