we recently ordered a new 3710 from a local dealer here in Canada. We opted for turf tires and the mid mount mower. With approx 10 acres of lawn, airstrips and grass laneways we are looking forward to getting some serious use out of our new machine. Has anyone had any experience with this model? This will be our first new tractor and first Kubota as well.....definately the most machine for the money that we could see

Howie, I haven't had any experience with that particular model, but have owned a couple of Kubotas and I'm bettin' you'll really be happy with that 3710.

We almost bought a used New Holland TC 35D with the super steer and a loader, it was offered to us for$25600 Canadian . It had around 300 hrs on it and was in good condition. We looked at the green stuff too but found it to be kinda tiny . The New Hollands are pulling quite a bit more power out of their three cylinder engines than either Deere or Kubota, so to get a fair comparison, we had to move up to the 3710 which is a four banger. It should be a smoother engine and it wont have to work quite as hard as the New Holland three banger. One of the really big deciding factors was the mid mount deck, I really didnt like the looks of the New Holland decks. They are a skinny poorly designed deck and not at all as refined as the Kubota. Hope to get the new machine before the middle of the month

I've had my L3710 for 3 years and am very pleased with it. I average 125 hours/year and have done nothing more than routine mainteneance since I've owned it.

what type of work do you use your 3710 for? And what kind of fuel burn do you have with it?

Congrats Howie!!! You are going to love your L3710. I've had mine for 2 years now, and it has never failed to dissappoint. Let us know how you like it.......if you can pull yourself away from it long enough!!!

Well, I got my new machine and it is everything and more than I hoped it would be!!!! I turned the wheels around, to get the maximum stability for cutting along ditches etc. I am amazed at how little rpms I need to run to cut grass ( using approx 1500 rpms) and still get a good blade speed on the mid mount pto. Im really glad that I went with this model, as I had toyed with the idea of a 3410 and the 3cylinder engine. Im sure that it would be good too, but I do like the idea of a larger engine working a little less harder than the 3 cylinder would have to, to do the same work. We have a John Deere boom mower which attaches to the rear pto. The book for it calls for some where around 30 to 35 horse power on the pto. I needed the hydrostat transmisson to use the mower with the best results. I had been using an old International 434 and it was killer on the clutch and could never find an appropriate ground speed. I think that the Kubota will be the cats meow for it. I must applaude Kubota for such a great machine, it is a work of art!!!!
