i would like to run a power angle plow on my 06 kubota 4630 it has a woos 1016 loader with quick detach bucket, can i just use 2 of my rear remotes to operate it or is there somthing easier . this my first tractor and im alittle green . thanks mick
First off Spike, I presume you mean you want to mount the plow in place of the bucket on the FEL (front end loader) for the winter?
If so you have two options;
First, yes you can just run long lines to the rear remotes, that can be a PITA but it does work just fine.
The second and IMHO better way to do it though is to put a T-fitting in the two lines of the bucket 'curl' circuit and install a QD (quick disconnect) fitting on it. Then make up your choice of chain or bar to hold the QD plate in the fully retracted (bucket up) position when you want to use the plow.
Oh, and BTW, when you mount the plow, do not mount it rigidly to the QD plate, you want it to swing on the stock lower two points with a chain for lifting just like it does on a truck.
I am in the process of doing the same thing again on my Bobcat ct440 to utilize my Frontier blade. I've always opted for method #1 for simplicity's sake, but it is a PITA if you remove the loader much so don't go hog wild with the zip ties. In my case I also spent the $500 at Washburn to get the reverse adapter to connect it. They even painted it green so it might be worth the extra few hundred bucks over having one built. At least it fits!

Spend an extra $20 and put QD fittings at each end of the long lines and then you only have to undo the zip ties to remove the lines completely from the machine, not just the blade.
Spike: A little more info may be required here. If you replace the bucket with the blade why won't your regular loader hydraulics or joystick control the blade? I use the "curl" to regulate the pressure on the trip springs, depending if I'm into ice chunks or something other than snow (so they don't trip too easy). The third hydraulic I'm referring to is for my third function - angling the blade 30 degrees left or right. Am I completely mixed up here?
Spike: Something else to ponder; is the bottom frame of your blade straight edged iron or rounded somehow. I only ask because if it's straight iron you might want to weld on a 2" or so 3'-4' long pipe. Then the frame will float a little better rather than dig into grass or something solid and catch if the curl is too aggresive. It will also stiffen up the frame. Good luck!
Ok, we seem to have a couple of ideas mixed together there.
First, the blade mounting, if it is rigidly mounted (trip springs aside) to the mount so it cannot pivot up & down like it would on a pickup, then the entire weight of the (front portion of the) FEL is bearing on the plow blade. While this will scrape a little better, it also dramatically reduces the traction on the front wheels of the tractor.
If on the other hand the plow can float seperate from the FEL, then the entire weight (including some leverage because it overhangs the front wheels) of it is bearing down on the front wheels.
I cannot emphasize enough the advantage in pushing and more importantly steering this gives you.
Secondly though, the hydraulics, you only need one circuit for the plow, and that is to angle it left or right.
