  L2800

I am looking at a 2006 L2800 with 103 hours.
This is a 4wd tractor with 4 speed hi-lo, transmission.
The pain and body are in very good condition. The tractor
comes with the following;5'rotary mowe, 5'finish mower,
5' box blade. 6' harrow and a old singlerow bottom plow.
The tractor cranks and runs great. The owner is asking $10,000. Is this a good deal?
Thanks for any info, as I am a 1st time tractor buyer.

JJRadTech,

I think you've found a great deal.

Tire options can sometimes be a problem with used machines. If the tractor has agriculture tires on it, it won't work well for mowing a finished lawn.

I'm not sure if the L2800 comes with a mid-PTO shaft, or if one can even be added to that model. (You'll need to investigate that a bit.) It's possible that it already has a PTO shaft under the belly. If it doesn't, you might want to consider whether or not you'd ever need that option in order to run a front mounted rotary broom, or belly mower. If you don't need anything of the sort, that tractor package would likely be a very good buy for you.

Thanks guys for the info on the L2800.Unfortunately
when I called the owner Monday afternoon to close the
deal he told me he had been served with divorce papers that morning and could not sell the tractor. So my
search for a tractor continues.
