I do not know if New Holland has ownership of Mahindra but the the closest Mahindra dealer is also a New Holland shop and was one first.

I do like the idea that Kubota makes their own engines and probably the most of the tractor components of any manufacturer.

Deere and Kubota have the most dealerships if that is a factor, I would be concerned if Mahnidra bites the dust, Tractors last a long time and do not go out of style like a car, so parts are important.

There are a few types of 3PH problems. Does not go up, does not stay up, does not go down.

If you have a loader does it work? If not probably hydraulic pump issue related.

My father in law gets out his old selectric typewriter and addresses his comments to the CEO of the company he has issues with. He usually gets something more than boiler plate responses, enough so he keeps at it if he has a gripe.

You are right you have to be doing something a little different to get attention.

I think the first one is draft control limit for the 3PH. There is also a tilt on the 3PH for one of the other ones.

I do not like fluid in my tires and definitely think it should be avoided in radial tires. On radials it reduces traction and is weight below the axle so it is not that effective unless you are working on slopes. Half way full to two thirds is plenty. I just hate the mess if you need tire maintenance, prefer plan old air in tires.

From what I know Blue cheese is high in calories and fat, with just a single ounce of cheese containing 100 calories, or 5 percent of your daily intake in a 2,000-calorie diet. Each serving of blue cheese also contains 8.2 grams of fat, of which 5.3 grams is saturated fat. Lets just say that I can see why fast food chains are serving up more unhealthy food to go along with the fries and cheese burgers. Only positive of blue cheese is it keeps heart surgeons busy :)

I am always careful on slopes. Make sure it is dry, make sure there is no dew from the morning or early evening.

I make sure not to have a loader on if using a mid mower.

They make grade gauges that can help you identify dangerous grades...but I find that somewhat foolish...I use the "pucker" method.. if it does not feel good I don't do it.

Do you have a ROPS on the foton? If not stay off that grade IMHO.

I seriously doubt that heating the hydraulic fluid is the cure, you live in Pennsylvania after all not the north pole!

Your tractor is engineered to run and operate without a heater.

I think your problem goes back to the Amish hose replacement where there is a air leak from them poorly attaching hose fittings that leak or suck air.

Did you have an unusually short lived original alternator?

If the answer is the alternator life was not particularly short I find the KISS (keep it simple stupid) approach is best for me, keeps me out of trouble. Just slap the another one of the same in and move on.

Or if you love to tinker have at it :)

I take it you were using a torque wrench to know the 30 foot pounds?

I am going to probably have the lone opinion on this one but I do not use a torque wrench often, particularly on applications where the bolt is small enough to snap. It also causes you too use a tool that makes you lose perspective of what is reasonable. OK engineers have at me !

It sounds like the threads were crossed, rusted dirty .....

One of the auto stores has a kit you can borrow with a deposit for free that allow you to clean the threads.

In regards to a pattern I just hand thread, then just gradually tighten every other bolt :(

A simple test to see if the problem is the alternator is to check across the battery terminals for DC voltage.

Also check fuses.

I am curious what you guys think about adding a cooling radiator to existing stand alone log splitter.<br>

1) At what number of consecutive hours running does the cooling fin become beneficial? <br>

2) Would adding a cooling fin extend the relatively short life of Log Splitter fluid? And by how much do you think?<br>
