You are under estemating the power of these tractors big time. I got a b7510 and manage a 4ac, 7.6ac,7ac and a 37ac property were I cut 22ac of grass three times a year. It works just fine. Sometimes I wish I would have went with a 7800 for the extra nine horse power for the tall grass. In the tall grass I wish I had enough power to stay in high gear cause 22 acres gets old real fast in low gear and sometimes the tall grass gets thick before I know it,otherwise high gear cuts it real good. Depending on the size of trees and width of the logs,you may want a bobcat. If it's 6" logs 100" long (pulp)a 7510 would pull them out like nothing. After you're done logging a bx would work fine. I rotto till gardens for me and others at 1800rpm so I know even the smallest bx would work fine. Remember a diesel is a heck of a motor, much different than gas tractors.

I also had problems with some warranty work with my Kubota. I waited two weeks to have it fixed and then they did work on it That was not under warranty and charged me for it. They straightend the deck but I didn't know it was not right. Now I see one side of the deck is higher than the other side so they did not fix it they screwed it up. I never had such bad service. In the two weeks they said they were sorry and I said I understood during harvest time with big JD tracters broken down first things first, but when they stabbed me with a bill with work that I know was under warranty I won't be going back. I will not be buying my post hole digger or my bush hog from them and they lost more mney off bad and dishonest service than they made. Also, they are twice as expensive than King Cutter and other brands I can get anywhere, and they won't warranty their products anyway. I was open with them when I told them I got the tractor from Illinois but for the deal I got I am still way ahead. With the info I can get on these message boards I could have fixed it myself for cheaper.

Tractorhouse.com has some nice machines. There is a 7800 in real nice shape for 11k and no plow. I know that's more than you wanted to spend but a half mile driveway will take a long time. I have a 7510 and it pushes snow with turf tires real well. But my drive is 200 feet and still takes a half hour when there are drifts. There are lots of Kubota adds on tractorhouse in Washington and Oregon. Good luck. Also, I know I'm on a KUBOTA sight but look into JohnDeere they are also good. A lot depends on the best service that is close by.

I know I'm in the JD section, but I don't believe JD is a better tractor than Kubota. I think they are darn equal. Remember Kubota's bread and butter is small diesel tractors, and it shows. They are darn good. JD's bread and butter is in big farm tractors,and it shows. That's why you don't see big Kubota farm equipment. JD is trying to be king at everything including lawn mowers. Doesn't work well. JD can sell to Home Depot but they better sell quality on everything that is labeled JD, even if it means less sales cause if you sell junk to one customer you loose one customer.My dad has two JD lawn mowers. A 120 and a 190? The 120 is a few years old and has had lots of problems. Why he bought another JD is beyond me. Soon he will find they are both junk and should have bought a 495 diesel and would have had something. When they are junk he will get mad and won't buy another green one and will say all JD's are junk. So quality lasts long after the thrill of a cheap price tag.

I had a hard time starting my 7510 last year for a while. I thought all you had to do was turn the key for a few seconds for the glow plugs to work. After a while I noticed the yellow glow plug light has to be on for five to ten seconds. Then it started up in one second.

I am cutting 24 acres of grass and weeds for my church with my b7510. I am not charging them, but I was told I can get a tax write off for the "rental" of the machine. So here is my question, does anyone know what this tractor is worth on a daily rental with a 60" mmm? So far I have about 60 hours cutting and no problems except a wheel fell off the mower deck cause the weld broke. Thanks.

I have a question about my Kubota 7510 hst. When I am in 4wd I notice a faint howling or moaning sound in the front of the tractor when I turn the wheels kind of sharp. Is this normal or is there somthing wrong or low on gear oil or somthing? Best to look into it now in case it gets worse. Thanks in advance.

I got a 7510. Don't be fooled by the 21 horse, a 21 horse diesel is a world away from the 21 horse gas lawn mowers. It is one tough machine. I never went lacking horsepower yet. As for stumps it's hard to say. They have been dead a few years and are rotting but if they are 12" stumps they will most likely come out and you might be surprised. A 24" or 30 " stump is for a bull dozer. Mowing? you won't believe this thing! With my mmm I go right over prickery ash with half inch shoots, four foot high grass, prickers and anything else. As for turf tires, they do spin easier, but in low gear at 1500 rpm, 4wd with locking differentials(left heel pedal) This thing goes and I ain't kidding. Even with turfs I plow snow till it comes over the bucket and still goes till I hit ice. The only thing I think could use improvement is maybe a middle gear. I have bogged down in high gear at 11-1300 rpm going up hill cutting grass and plowing but low just goes up steep hills in idle. We got a snow storm last winter with 30" drifts and 40mph wind and got stuck, so at a cross wind to let the wind blow the snow away, I backed up in high at 2200rpm and rammed the drifts into the sky. Nothing but a white out for fifty yards. Today I scatterd 22 tons of stone around a house for my sister inlaws landscape co. It took three hours in high gear and left it on 1100rpm, (idle)

Last week I was on ebay and saw a Kubota 2630 for sale. They stated it was bought by John Deere and was tested with warranty pending. The pics looked like it was in Iowa or the midwest somewhere. Buy it now was 6k. I believed it because I know car companies strip them down. And why not? I emailed his personal email, not through ebay. He mailed me back and said it was his brothers tractor but his brother died in a car accident and the tractor was in England so he only had pictures until I send money. The next day the add was pulled. I knew it was a scam when he changed stories inside of two emails, would not bring it over to the states,would not let me see it, and of coarse a tragedy for sympathy. I told him I would buy it if I could see it and ride it for 6k. NEVER HEARD FROM HIM AGAIN!!

Redrum, Art likes Kubotas the best for small tractors. (I read Art's profile.) Got you on that one Art. By the way nice part of New york you live. I have been all around that area. My dad got drafted to the air force and ended up meeting my mom in Utica. They are there now for a reunion. Also, glad to see you like Kubotas the best. I got a 7510hst last fall and I can't imagine 21 hp. doing more. By the way, how many hours can I expect before an overhual? 30,000 hours seems unbelievable.

Ok, I just get a little cheap once in a while about filters and stuff. I guess it doesn't matter much after the long run. And thanks about mentioning the screen in the hose line. I didn't know it was there. I'm new to compact tractors but with the cost it pays to maintain, even over maintain doesn't hurt I guess. I payed more for my 60" mmm than most people pay for a whole lawnmower. So far the 7510 has been more than what I expected.

When I bought my 7510 I knew I would use it but never imagined it was so usefull. I use it for everything, even when cutting grass, I use it to push rows of grass clippings on to piles, push branches, flatten ant hills to save my blades, knock over prickery ash, rake the driveway, push snow, dirt, stones carry firewood and a bunch more. It's one of those things that's worth every penny.
