Your mileage may vary, unfortunately that pan ain't empty so it needs quite a bit of clearance. If the pan is coming off for engine repairs, better to pull engine.

Sounds like dementia or not your tractor had a starting issue. That model is new enough that likely has numerous safety switches.. seat and PTO engaged type.

As already advised checking everything to do with install of starter. See if you can temporarily bypass each safety switch.

You might also try buying a hand held starter switch for $15 to see if it cranks bypassing your electrical system.

Was the tractor transported from some warmer climate area of the country ?

Or it ran well in the summer but not now?

Is it stored outdoors?

Tank full of fresh fuel?

If old fuel and almost empty tank you may have condensation in the tank.

But the implements run on hydraulic fluid and you said you had none so you have more questions for him. :-(

Rust and weight has always been the enemy of the Pickup Truck. I think Ford made the right decision, rubber maps and or just a sheet of pressure treated plywood will protect the bed enough.

I just cannot understand how Elon Musk's Tesla has a higher market cap then GM, and how Ford despite being the only Domestic manufacturer that did not need a bail out in the financial crisis, has been doing so poorly in the equity markets.

Blowby can be caused couple by of things.. One can be you have lost compression in one or more of your cylinders due to worn rings and enlarged cylinder diameter allowing explosion exhaust to be pushed into the oil crankcase causing the pressure you see

It is laughable they add paddle shifters to to these econ boxes in the spirit of sportiness. there is simply no sport in them at all PERIOD.

I like your original approach, do nothing and keep up the good no work. I am sooo lazy, apply yourself to other pursuits. Even if you get the lawn all prettied up some blight or drought is bound to come your way to spoil it anyhow.<br>

Just think $500 per truck load of dressing per acre at least, hours and hours spreading the !#$^%^ stuff, seed fertilizer..... probably thousands of bucks... Then you will need to go to the Chiropractor for the back ..<br>

Minds me of a friend that upon seeing my shiny and newly waxed truck remarked that washing and waxing a quickly aging depreciating vehicle that you will soon replace with another one is a foolish waste of effort, time, and money.<br>

Mahindra is an Indian company. They assemble Tractors in the US, and guess since they made it to the worlds highest unit sales volume lately, must be the reason Kubota is comparing to them on the Kubota site.

They claim to have won a Deming quality award as well.

Time will tell I suppose.....

It is possible that the rear implements were not purchased by last owner new or used to be the right fit for the Compact B2710. It often happens that folks rummage around for stuff being disposed of at good prices that came off a bigger machine, and try to make the best of wrong sized stuff at economical cost, but they can actually be dangerous to use on the machine you have. Anyways something to look into or rule out.

I would make sure you getting spark and that you are getting gas assuming this is a gasoline engine.

Pull plug and ground and see if you are getting spark.

If you have spark then pour a thimble of fuel into spark plug hole and replace plug and see if it fires. If no spark could be coil, points condenser.

If it does fire you know you have a fuel problem. I would look at fuel pump and replace fuel lines as possible causes.

You would have a hard time selling anything that does not run so it is worth figuring out your issue.

Just noticed that the big box stores are now selling ethanol free 92 octane premix in quarts for $6.00 or $20.00 for just under a gallon (110 vs 128).<br>

I think it is a good idea but too pricey to actually use during in season use. Probably a great way to store chainsaws and other 2 cycle gear.<br>

The guy in the store said storing with the ethanol free premix was a better way than running dry at end of season.<br>

These machines can run lots of hours but that said the average home owner would only put 500 hours on in 10 years so you are buying a 30 year old machine by home owner standards. Be ready to start doing more than just regular maintenance which can be pricey if going to a dealer.

Might be that you have 3 tires overloaded and one tire right loaded as most fill about 70% with fluid.
