Well put! I wish that, for what would probably be a few dollars more at time of purchase, they would place beefier sidewall Turf style Tires on or at least give you the option.

NC, wouldn't it be easier and cheaper to just have that outside wall well insulated, perhaps by the method of having holes drilled (Either from outside or inside)and then having expanding insulation forced in? Put that $1200 toward the insulation and forget about the antifreeze and the $125 yearly cost for inspection. Steve

You have a 02 Boomer EW, not an 03. (I have the same machine.) That's one of the first signs of old age creeping in on you. I know that first hand too. Don't try to say you hit the wrong key on the keyboard either :-).

Ken, I could be mistaken but I seem to recall a website that described each of the filters in detail, including valves. "IF" I remember correctly, both the filters in question did not have valves. If I run across the website again I'll give it to you.
My neighbor was talking about bringing the filter back (Don't forget he got it for nothing). If he does and they determine what the problem was I'll be sure to post it. Steve

I've long said that after 40 it's all downhill. I'll be 55 in February and although I think I'm in pretty decent shape for my age I have had my problems. My Grandparents used to say that old age doesn't come alone and they were certainly right. The way things are today I wouldn't want to be young again anyway.
My Mother-in-law had her gall bladder removed years ago and your problems sound similar to hers so that just may be the case with you.
Ask Murf if you can move in with him for a while for that free medical care. Talking tractors and plowing snow will probably make a world of difference. Don't forget that Canadian refrigerator he has with all the ice cold beer when you open the back door! Makes you feel a little bit better already doesn't it?

SG, I didn't take it personal, I was just passing on what I had found out in hopes it might help someone. I sent E-mail to the original poster as it said texas was one of the states equipment had been stolen from. As we both know however, the police can't legitimately say this guy gets this and that guy has to pay that, it's the courts and insurance that decide who gets what. If I had bought a $15,000+ tractor that was stolen that I believed to be a legitimate deal, I'd be willing to spend a couple grand on an attorney if I thought I could get most of my money back. The bad guy must have a pick up truck or something that the court can give me through a good attorney.

Does your friend know for a fact that the engine, gearing and performance was similar to other Sentras?

KW, It's like he said (and I just got off the phone with him) He doesn't know if what the saleman told him about beige Sentra's of that year being different is true, but he said he does know for a fact he got 65 mpg. I told him to register for Tractorpoint to discuss some of these things on his own and I believe he'll look into it tomorrow, we'll see. All I can say KW is that he's an honest, no baloney guy. In fact we were laughing about all the progress that's been accomplished the last twenty years; cell phones, computers, medecine (He's survived cancer and me a heart attack because of advances in medecine) but some cars still get twenty miles per gallon. I'm hoping he registers and can comment on his own. Thanks for your input. Steve

You're absolutely correct Wingwiper. By "Responsibility" I mean PayPal has the responsibility to ensure that the right people (Enforcement) look into this and attempt to track down the origin of the e-mail to MIFarmin, not just say they don't know the origin of the e-mail and can't do anything about it; which is what MIFarmin said his response was.
