despite the decades of getting stumped in the dirt that protestant ethic is still showing through. Somewhere it says that the children of the righteous are blessed to the seventh generation. I figure the last truly righteous generation of Americans to be the great generation who fought WWII. If you measure each generation to be the time it takes for an average adult to begin procreation, it's about 30 years now in the US. So add about 200 years to the end of WWII and that'd be about the time all hell should break loose.

"They are on tracks and work fine. When you get to hinges you need strong ones with bearings if possible" that sounds like the easiest, safest and most reliable way to set up good looking carriage-house style doors. You'll avoid sagging and can even go for solid wood construction.

used to own B7800 - nothing but fond memories. 1/4in valve does take some getting used to, but not a big deal at all. If I did have the extra 2K to spend, I'd go ahead and grab 3030 for all the extra conveniences. Hopefully you'll have this tractor for many years and over time 2K will seem like a worthwile investment on an upgraded model. but I like I said, I absolutely loved the 7800. Those 30hp are Clydesdales, not welsh ponies.

well, this is all cementics, you're probably right, I just never looked at that thing as an on/off switch. The black toggle switch near the handle can be in three positions. The top-most is the "off" position and shuts off the saw. I don't think I can even pull the cord with the switch in the "off" position. I used to give the saw a pull or two in the "cold" mode, then move the switch to the "warm" position, pull it once and on it goes... but not in the current comatose state. I'll be sure to ask the repair man what the hell went wrong with this thing.

I like the idea of cops being 30 years or older. Preferably with army experience as a commanding officer. With exemplary character as evidenced by multiple references. And no women. And give them six figures to start. Then we won't have to complaing about asshole cops. One bad one ruins the reputation for 99 good ones.

Here is a simple solution to this so-called problem of identity theft: if you don't want your information tempered with, DON'T GIVE IT OUT!!! Cash is still an acceptable form of tender in the US and nothing is stopping you from paying for your purchases in cash and staying away from credit.

I hear some of you complaining about companies who use your personal information for profit (what a surprise - a company trying to make a profit) and asking the government to come in with more regulations and more power to control those companies. Do you see how you are the ones responsible for the growth of government? Every time you run to the government for help, there's payback in your liberties. It's like asking Godfather for a favor, he'll ask you to return that favor sooner or later.

I had to sell the house and for that the septic had to pass the inspection which it didn't. Once it fails you can't sell the house, so you have no choice but to do what is necessary to remediate. In my case it meant installing a new septic. The sepctic fiasco cost me around $16K. In my township there are a lot of older homes that have been selling and needed to replace their septic systems.

There definitely needs to be protection for ground water, but, in my case, the ground water tests passed with flying colors so there's wasn't a contamination problem, just an "overzealous inspector/specsheet problem".

I'm talking $7.50 per 50lb square bale. By the time it gets to NJ from the fruited plains, so much gas is burned that it costs that much and besides, the snooty horse owners in NJ can afford that and more.<br>

I agree with hardwood, you have to look at the crowns and see which trees are fat enough to look good on their own. If you only remove small undergrowth trees (20' or less) then you won't have that problem, but you won't get any grass growth either.

Another problem is that thinning out tends to stress out the remaning trees (which grew up in a sheltered environment) and a lot of them will get sick and die in a few years. So at the end you end up chopping them all down, end up planting new trees and loose a few years, while you could have planted your park right away. But it all depends on the existing growth.

I agree on road noise, too. It's a bummer. Glad you got a dead end road location.

you listed the republican establishment figures next to those of the dems I simply said that I resent the republican counterparts only slightly less than I resent the dems. The whole system is a sharade designed to impersonate representative government. It has been perfected to maintain a small clique of families in power, while the vast majority of the american populace is totally convinced that they (common americans) have something to do with who runs the country. The beast of government is wiley and wickedly strong. It holds ALL reigns of power, including ALL media outlets. Independent voices are more often corrupted than silenced by force. You need to dig deep to see the sinister nature of the present power structure. Pay attention to who associates with whom, especially away from the cameras: the level of duplicity will never cease to amaze you. I'm not sure you'll take to what I'm saying. The bottom line is there are no good governments. They are parasitic entities designed by the wealth holders for the SOLE purpose of maintaining the stability of wealth generating institutions such as manufacture and trade. The weaker the government, the better the common man in an educated, religious society. Our government has grown beyond the point where we can reduce its strength by democratic means. We are not too far removed from a tyranical unified world government. At this point a wise man can only observe the events and see for himself the fulfillment of scriptural prophecies take place in his own life time.
