Ive tried for a few years to get my Shibaura 1803 lift working. Had a guy spend a couple hours with it this week with no success. Got another lined up to take a look in the near future, and that’s on top of the many hours I’ve spent on it myself.

My tractor has a “joystick” electronic lift switch and 3 knobs, all labeled in faded Japanese. I’ve never been able to understand or locate info on them.

If I get any satisfaction with the next mechanic, I’ll post the information here.

Just wanted to pass this along -<br>
I was havin a helluva time getting the driveshaft from my 3-point snow blower hooked up to the tractor. I keep it greased so it will not rust but apparently the grease was just too heavy in freezing weather. I slid the tractor-side half out and brought it inside to warm up, wiped off the old grease and wiped the PTO shaft down with light oil. A couple days later I took it back out and it went on nice as could be. So there's another one for my bag of tricks - it only took 20 years to figure out.

Hey Been there, did you go forward with your drive shaft upgrade on you cub cadet 6284? If so, do you have any pictures or specifications you would share. I am looking at upgrading mine from the flex coupler design thats factory. If you where sucssesfull in doing so are you happy with it and what did it cost you?

That information would be really helpful to me also !

MyN249 has power to starter motor, No dash lights and no clicking of starter relay.

If I jump the starter it spins but wont crank...any ideas :)

I have replaced my carburetor, installed new air and fuel filters drained the fuel tank and replaced with new fuel all to no avail. My Gator will start (throttle start) but when I press the gas pedal to go, it stalls. Choke and throttle linkage work fine and Gator will kind of run if I feather the choke in and out. Please advise

What type of tire? Ag? Industrial? Turf?
What is the size written on the sidewall of your curren tires?
I have seen the Kubota B Series Carlisle Turf OEM tires on Amazon for small dollars. Only issue with them is that they ship compressed and are hassle to get on the wheel, and a tire store may reject the idea of the trouble mounting them for you.

My glow plug light will not shut off, and I am not certain the heater is even working. I have TC48DA New Holland. I have replaced heater relay, replaced ignition switch, checked the timer switches for ohms with and without voltage to them. Cannot find the issue, I hear relay click when I turn the key, but dont hear it go off. I pulled all wires to the relay because I needed to use the tractor and the light is still on. Scratching my head here. Any help is appreciated

Most tof the grocery stores I go to have a staff that retrieve the shopping carts from wherever the customers leave, which fo many is all over the place.<br>

So today I stopped at a store that you have to insert a quarter dollar coin into the cart to get one. There is not one single cart that has not been returned to retrieve that little old quarter, even in 2023 when a quarter is not worth that much, made me chuckle to think how a little quarter was so damn influential !
