 problem with the remotes

Hello I'm new to the site, I hope this works, I have a 562 with a front loader, the loader does not have a joystick, it uses the tractors levers next to the steering wheel. My question is why won't my remotes work?, what can I do? there's not many belarus down here, and any help would be greatly appreciated.

Peyton;
Are there linkage systems between the levers and the valves that something cold have becvome unhooked, a roll pin thru a shaft broken, etc? Are the valves getting a supply of fluod? Is there a filter in the sysrtem that could be clogged, or the fluid level too low. Does the tractor have power steering or a three point hitch that still work?
Belarus dealers are rare here, but maybe in other places there are still some, someone here maybe can help on that.
Tell us a bit more, maybe we can help.
Frank.

Welcome to the group! Kind of guessing here, but I gather your Belarus has, either from the factory or as an add-on, a pair of two-way levers, and you'd prefer a single four-way. (Not sure what you mean by your remotes.)

The double two-ways used to be common and should work as well as one four-way (and have their advantages when it comes to servicing). But if you want a four-way, can't you just buy one, decide how to mount it, and connect it in place of what's there?

 re: problem with the remotes

Sounds like whoever installed the loader was too cheap to buy a controller for it, he used those associated with the remotes instead. But those that I've seen used QD connectors on the loader hoses, so that they plugged into the remotes.

If I'm reading this right, it sounds like you've got two sets of available but non-functional remotes. If yes, you're stuck in an either/or situation. Those tractor levers will operate either the loader - or the remotes. But not both at the same time. And if a cheap installation was the original goal, there probably aren't any QD connections between the loader and the tractor levers either. If that's the case, then the remotes are effectively isolated from their controllers.

Should you have an ongoing use for the remotes, I'd suggest springing for a joystick controller for the loader, which will then free up to use the remotes at the same time.
