The formatting is pretty, but some pages are now very inefficient. The Active Topics page that I access the list from is now 3x longer due to wasted space. ....

Yes the "messages as Posted" and "active subjects" pages have more space, in theory to make the questions more readable.
The other lists are tight as before.
Let me know if you like less space or more the more readable format.

Dennis, I think John Deere Green with John Deere Agriculture Yellow trim would look even better. ;o) ;o);-O In my unbiasd opinion of course! Seriously, the changes look great and the board seems to be growing in leaps and bounds. Great work! ....

Dennis,
Does the "TractorPoint Members Online NOW" know exactly when a person is here? For example, my work and home computer are always logged in, but I might not be at the site. Does it still say that I am online? ....

The Members Online is a list of users with a session timeout clock since your last access. So even if your machine at work is left on the TractorPoint site, the session will timeout after a specified period of inaction, so we so we do not count it twice.

Since I'm on a dial-up I like things that are designed to increase efficiency. The new icon that displays a short synopsis of a message is great because it helps to prevent clicking on a message that was already read. I did slightly prefer the single line format that would more densely present information but it's not a big deal for me. ....

That little icon was always there, I just put it in its own column, so more people might use it.
I find the new format reads easier for the Topics but harder for the Posted By and Date.
The forums are still listed the old way. ....

Dennis, you phrased it as a choice between "more readable" and the "dense format".
For me, it's not either/or: the denser format is more readable to me. It is also more compact, so I can see more active topics at a time.
Having it all strung out with a lot of blank space is not more readable to these 50+ eyes... ....
