The challenge here is to ID this tiller and to find a source for replacement tines.

What I am looking for is an on-line site where I can buy replacement tines. The ones on it are completely worn and I have exhausted all sources for tines locally and am now looking to find some on the net and have them shipped to me.

If you are a tiller guru and know of a source for seemingly obscure tines, please post here or e-mail me at "xltget1 at hotmail.com"

I am supplying a link to a photo gallery with pics of the tiller and the tines for the gurus to view. Click on the thumbnails to view the fullsize pic.

I'm thinking a real tiller guru will have no trouble with this.

Willie, it's called CRS. I have a very bad case of it myself. Kuhn offers a couple of variations of it but not! Good luck! ....

Thanks a bunch WillieH and Art White. I would be grateful for any help with this. After reading all through this forum and seeing the knowledge the members here have on tillers and such, I knew someone here would be able to solve this nagging problem.

I am new here, but I really enjoy coming here every day and reading. ....

I think Art hit the nail on the head - CRS...bad case!
I searched for my doc's on these babies, but haven't found quite what I'm looking for ...yet - when I do, I'll send it your way.

In the mean time, I want to say that it is either a Chinese, Korean or Italian made tiller. Caroni makes a tiller, as well as the brand that (curse, curse) Kioti puts in their package deals. I believe that that is a Rhino brand, either Chinese or Korean made. I have not seen many tillers with tines of this character, most are righthand and lefthand "L" configurations.
Now that I've taken you around the world, I'll keep searching my files.

Willie H.

Aha! So that's it. I racked my brain trying to fathom a guess at what CRS could possibly be. Thanks for clarifying that for me! ....

Sparex is supplying tines for Yanmar tillers similar to this. This looks just like one I saw come off a container load of Yanmar tillers. The tines all seem to interchange as far as I know. ....

ironpeddler and marklugo...........
Thanks for your replies. I couldn't find anything on Sparex' website, however. Cleancutter's 522R were almost a match. The hole size is 1/2 inch, cleancutter's is shown as 7/16. I have 33 tines, so the cost would have been around $318 had they fit. Fair price for new, but dang that's alot of $ !
Thanks again for replying. ....

OK gentlemen. Turns out jailer was out of tines when I e-mailed him. Darn it!. Thought I had found a lead there for a while. Thanks anyway for trying, jailer.

Anybody else have any ideas? Used tines in decent shape would be great, but new ones at a low cost would be fine too. ....
