Hi: My TC 33D's throttle won't stay in the accel mode when I have even the slightest load on it. Is there some kind of adjustment to keep it in the position that I put it in? Thanks!

Are you saying the revs decrease under load (which sounds normal) or that the hand control throttles back on its own? ....

It is common for the friction pivot for the throttle gets loose with time. You have to take the cowl off that is where your key switch is. Use a 13mm socket and remove the two bolts that hold the RH cowl to the LH cowl. Then remove the two bolts from the engine compartment on the front of the cowl. Wiggle the cowl out and tighten the throttle pivot bolt some. ....

Tighten the pivot bolt for the throttle control arm. You will see it has nylon washers at the pivot to aid in the friction. ....

It is the throttle lever that you use with your hand when you want to change the engine speed. Look for the bolt that the lever pivots on and tighten it up some. You will see it has nylon washers between the bracket and the lever to aid in the friction needed for good throttle feel. If I remember right, the bolt is a stove bolt so you will be tightening a nylock nut that is on the steering column side of the lever. ....

I think we found it. It was a big brass type nut on the right side. We tightened it up pretty snug so it feels as good as new. Thanks for your help T-Man. ....
