We have been looking at compact utility tractors. Just looked at the New Holland's today. They seem to compare well with the Deeres and Kubotas. The dealer quoted us $24,080 for a TC30 with a 757C Backhoe and a 7308 loader. Same loader and backhoe with a TC29D with the HST tranny for $26,000. These are about $3,000 less than a comparable orange or green tractor. What does everyone else think about these prices?

I paid $17,300 for a TC33D with 7308 FEL,Industrial tires(filled)and was quoted $4,900 for the backhoe. Your price seems high. I would consider a 33D for the extra $800 it was well worth it. ....

I paid $14,980 for a TC33D with top,FEL. Check out Ok Tractors at www.oktractors.com ask for Ted (owner) tell him Kris from NC sent ya. He will ship the tractor to your door, and if you buy from him you won't pay sales tax on the tractor if you live out side the great state of North Carolina.

I got a quote for my exact tractor from Ted at $17,350-$17,550 depending on delivery. Even though I got the same price locally I paid more due to taxes But, I also have a great dealer for sevice and warranty work, so for me it was worth the few extra bucks. ....

My Trator was new had .3 hours on it. Tranny "Geared" I have an old Ford 8n which as you now is a geared machine so when it came time to buy a new tractor I bought a geared machine once again. I have always enjoyed shifting my own gears. The tires on the tractor are Agriculture type. I am also buying a set of turf tires for the TC33D ....

I was quoted a price of 14,000 on a TC30 4WD and 7308 FEL. Was told to shop around and compare other makes then come back and we'd talk. ....

WOW! I thought we had it bad in the Northeast! Those sound like good prices if you are in Canada. In American dollars they are very high. Personally, I like NH, but I wouldn't buy one now - except if I wanted a TC30. They are revising the product line and substantially upgrading the TC33. The TC29 will be discontinued as the TC25 has been already. In round numbers those prices are about $3K high. I can't imagine what orange and green are!

My brother just bought a JD 4310 with FEL he paid $21,400 for it. It is the closest JD tractor to a TC33D which I have. I paid $17,300 and got filled industrial tires that he did not. That is a differance of $4,100 plus the tires. He thinks his tractor is much better, his reason is because the JD dealer gave him a video that says so. I laughed all the way to the bank. With the money I saved I bought a JD G100 to cut my grass. ....

I was looking at the oktractors website. Did you get a New Holland FEL, or the Bush Hog M146 that he has advertised with the tractor? If you got the New Holland what was the price of the loader separately. I need something that will cleanly clear a 8 ft wall, it doesn't appear that the Bush Hog will, but the NH7308 will.

Just wanted to say thank you to everyone. We are finalizing the paperwork now on a TC33D hydro with 7308 FEl, 757C backhoe, canopy, wheel weights, auxillary remote valve, and a Bush Hog 2103 PDH with downpressure kit and 2 augers. Total of $25,200 plus shipping. No one in my state could come within $3000 of this price. ....
