I have a chance to purchase a 2002 MMM deck that came on a
2410. I would like to know if there is any problem putting it on my 2003 7500? The model on the deck is RCK 60-24b.
Accordinng to the web page(Kubota) and the current owner of the deck,
it says in his manual that it will fit.
Anybody have any thing that I should look out for?
Can I use the same mounting brackets?

Thanks chief.
the 7500 wasn't listed there for the RCK 60-24B?
If I was looking at it right. I doubled checked Kubota
web page and it is listed, along with the 2410?
I was kind of hoping to sew it up tonight as it is first come first serve. Only used one time.$1400.00 I thought this was a fair price? any comments? ....

Doesn't sound like a bad price for a MMM. It looks like this mower will work only on the tractors listed in the chart (i.e. 2400 series) Art can I'm sure answer this better than I. ....

Chief
When you say chart ,are you referring to the one you posted or Kubota's?
I will call a dealer up here in the morning with model and serial #'s and see what thay say.
Got a little excited as the best price I have is 2400.00
and didn't want to miss it.
Appreciate your efforts!
He bought it with the idea of mowing a field once a year that he has, didn't work out, bought a bush hog .
Would you know how much of a job it is to install mounts? ....

If the mounts are anything like on my 4410; they are easy to install. The question is, will this mower fit your tractor. The mounts for the 2410 may be completely different from your 7510. That is why I said Art can address this issue much better than I can. Your dealer should be able to as well. If nothing else, you might be able to buy this MMM and trade it for the correct MMM that fits your tractor. ....

It will fit as long as the serial number is over 30001. I believe it shouldbe unless it was a holdover for one reason or another. ....

Art,
Thanks I found that out with a call to a local (helpful) dealer.
Could you tell me how many pcs. are in the mounting kit.
I made a deal on the mower and he has to take off the
mounting bracketts and all the hardware? like I said he used it once and it came mounted and isn't familiar with it.
He is looking for his mower manual. He is located about
100 mi so. of me so I have not looked at it yet. Just want
to make sure I get it all. How does it lift? easy to install mounts?
Thanks ....

What does a new 60" deck cost? I thought for sure I priced one this past year for around $1300. Maybe that was a 54" deck. My memory is somewhat selective these days. Do these "belly" mowers do a better job than a rear? Thanks ....

The best price I found was 2400.00 up to 2700.00. for 60" MMM
I hope hope they do a good job! Art recommended it to me
a while back.
I figure it gets cut before the back wheels run it over.
as well as being more maneuverable around the tree's.
Would depend on your land I guess. I have tree's. ....

I did a lot of research about mid-mount vs. rear mount before I purchased. If you have a big open field, the rear mount is your best choice. If you are cutting a lawn around your house with obsticles or the need to get in close, then get the mid mount. The list price from Kubota for the 54" mid-mount on my BX1500 is $1600. So, $1400 for a new 60" unit on a bigger tractor sounds like a pretty good deal. ....

Grinder I have better luck looking at it as to the number of pieces. There are different ways to take them apart and youdo have linkages from the front of the tractor back to the point of the loader hook-up or non-loader hook-up. Books are available for them and they do make it nice to begin with. If possible ask if they have the brackets for the mower with loader as well as with out. That would be the only place you might be able to get in trouble. ....

Thanks Art
I was hopng you would see this last post, He is looking for his mower manual, and is a little reluctant to do much in this cold snap,as far as going out and turning wrenches.
Can't blame him. Suppose to have a deal regardless. I believe he has a loader on his 2410. ....
