Why didn't you guys tell me to buy a CUT with a snowblower years ago!? We just got 9" today and I had more fun in the snow than I've had since I was 10!! Definately beats the hell out of my crappy old half worthless walk behind! Who ever it was that told me Tehcumseh engines were great should be roasted over a spit!

Thanks again for a fun and informative board! BTW my spies in Santa's shop tell me there is a digi-cam in my future! Updates to the website are comming...

You think that was fun, you should try it in a CUT with a heated cab and your jerk next door NEIGHBOUR is behind the Tecumseh-powered walk-behind....

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.....

Best of luck. ....

I have a BX22 and was looking to get a SnowBlower/Thrower. This last snow I used the frontend loader and rear blade. It worked fairly well. Is it worth getting a SnowBlower for my BX or should I get a walk behind or not worry about it. What the advantages or did advantages? Thanks. ....

Here in central NY we often get snow and it stays. That means you need to put it well away as we have it till spring. If you live in an area that it tends to thaw out every week or so I wouldn't consider it that critical. ....

I agree with Art, lots of people get by with just a blade and or FEL for years without any problems.

If however, you get lots of snow and run out of room to push it to, then you have to spend time stacking, moving or just pushing back the banks.

A blower also seems to distribute the snow better so you don't have big icebergs to deal with late in the winter, or tall piles to see around/over.

If you are careful you don't end up with as much debris or gravel on your lawn in the spring.

Best of luck. ....

Hey I'm pretty new to this internet stuff. Up here in the Great White North with a driveway 1/2 mile long, I have done my share of playin' in the snow with my 6' blower on my Kubota. Makes me feel better to know I'm not completely nuts when I can hardly sleep at night because I keep gettin' up to see if we may be lucky enough to get lots and lots and lots and lots- (ok you get the idea) of snow.

By the way what the heck is a CUT? ....

Viper I do like the control available with the rotation and deflector. It makes it so you can put the snow exactly where you want it if you can afford to have build up with out later aggrivation in a area. ....
