Looking at these 3 models and have dropped the 2210 and now looking at the 4110 and 7500. That 2210 unprotected oil filter at the underneath back bothered me and all my 3 tractor owner friends are saying I will be happier with the bigger models. For me the 7500 would be $1300 more than the 2210 and the 4110 will be $1000 more than the 7500. I'm going for FEL and hog on both models. The 7500 would have a 48" hog and the 4110 would have a 60" hog. Main use will be mowing 3.5-4 acres (semi rough, black berries), some landscaping (dirt-moving and rock drive maintenance). I'm leaning to the 7500 because $1000 less and 3 yr Kub warranty vs. 2 yr JD. Comments welcome.

Both camps have their proponents but they are both fine machines. For me the JD ergonomics are better, especially the joystick location, seat, and floorboard pedal layout on HST models. Don't underestimate the importance of comfort when you spend hours at a time on the tractor. Another factor to consider is the quality of your dealer - sometimes it's worth paying more or traveling further to patronize the most reputable dealer. ....

I think the 4115 will handle a 60" brush cutter, but you might be pushing it with a 4110. ....

I think you might be right. The JD dealer quoted the 5' but I told him I thought a 4' would be more appropriate...which knocks $100 off the price and puts the diff between the 7500 and the 4110 at $900. ....

One of my buddies owns an old JD and as an experienced farm boy harps a lot about the ergonomics. He went looking with me and likes the 7500 ergo better because less noise and vibration and the bucket joy stick is not in the way when getting on off on the left side. ....

I always figured most people got on and off the tractor on the left side just like you get in the drivers seat of your car/truck on the left. On the Kubota HST with the treadle pedal getting on/off the tractor on the right requires you to dodge the pedals. For me there's a lot to be said to have the joystick fall to your hand without having to raise your arm, but everyone has their own preferences.

As far as the controls go, I think there are pros/cons to both sides so that will not enter much into my decision. Also, I need to go back to both dealers and do a better comparison of noise (which only counts some since ear protection will solve this) and vibration which I consider important. ....

Well, I think I made up my mind to go with the 7500. I just can't get past the price and warranty difference. I can honestly say that if Deere could have matched the price and warranty I would have went with the 4110. Thanks for your help. ....

Please see my response on the Kubota board. There are
differences between the 7500 and the 4110. I own
a 4100 and my neighbor owns a 7500 ....
