Has anyone been able to find R4 tires for the JD 2210, other than from the dealer? I need a set for the rear and front of the tractor. I have turf tread now, but they just don't have the traction I need. Thanks.

Try Gemplers.com or do a Google search under turf tires to get a dealer who carries both styles. ....

Whoops, I should have read a little closer. You wrote R-4 and I was thinking R-1's.
There might be something out there to fit the rears, but I have never seen such tires in a 8 or 10 inch rim size.
What do you have now and what do you hope to gain by changing? ....

The rears are 26x12-12 and the fronts are 18x8.5-10. They are R-3 turf tread. I've got some damp areas on my property, and frequently get stuck because the treads fill quickly with muck. I get my neighbor, who also owns a JD 2210 but with the R-4 tires, to pull me out. The dealer wants too much for the tires, so I was hoping to find them at a better price elsewhere. ....

I believe that "TITAN/CARLISLE" makes what you are looking for. Try "Cedar Rapids Tire Co." ....

I agree Deere wants way too much money for their tires.
Another option... Find another similar model from another manufacturer and check tire prices there. I can tell you that you can replace all four tires and wheels on a Kubota BX for about $300. The rears would go right on your tractor but Kubota uses a 8 inch front rim.
It is possible that New Holland rims and tires might bolt right on your green machine. ....

Thanks, all. I did some calling around and found a local Carlisle dealer who could order the tires for me. I'll save at least $100 on the set, installed, over what my JD dealer was quoting me! Incredible! Again, thanks everyone for your help on this. ....

Unless your tractor is a MFWD, there is no reason to replace the front tires. Also the R4 type tire is an industrial lug tire and won't have that much more traction. Your best bet would be R1 tractor tires. Try Premier Tire Terminal 1-800 525-3031 or 303 297-9555. ....
