I have dealt with 3 dealers in se Michigan.

Greenia's in Almont

Tri-county in Marlette

Nolans in Lapeer

When I looked at 790's these dealers all offered the same
price on the 790, $13,999 with ag tires and #70 loader.
I wonder if John Deere has some sort of price controls on
these machines?

I like the sales team at Greenia's best. I don't know who
is the best for service and warranty issues. Nolans definatley has the most stock and accessories on hand.

Jerry ....

I am gonna step out on a limb here and say in the neighborhood:

$13,750 (give or take $250)for a 790 MFWD w/SCV & Mid PTO, R-4 tires (I would strongly recommend this configuration), 70 Loader, & Land Pride AT 2672 mower.

You cannot get the 410 loader on the 790. The salesman may balk at this offer but if you go to the dealer with cash or cashier's check in hand, let them know you ARE READY to buy NOW, and are REAL light in the seat ready to walk out. I think you may be able to come somewhere close to these figures. Good luck and keep a good poker face! :o) ....

All are good dealers, but don't over look AIS in Richmond. Great service before and after the sale. Tom has the tractors in stock for the most part and a good selection of John Deere and Land Pride equipment. I have bought two tractors from him and when I wanted to trade up to the 4310 from my 790 he helped me sale it. ....

Haveing shopped all of theese dealers I found the stand outs in Price and service at Greenias and Nolans. Of course if you are on the East side Nolans is a bit of a drive. AIS is primarily heavy equipment and each time I was in there their prices certainly reflected that. They do have a nice dealership, There are a few more in the Detroit like this with really pretty show room floors and commissioned sales if you dont mind paying full price. ....

Tri-County the last I called was only an agricultural dealer not a compact dealer. Nolans is okay. Greenias was good and I would check Rosseel's in Chesterfield Twp. they usually have a few late model J.D's at good prices. Depends on where you are located. ....

Ruger, I think they are carrying a few now but they primarily focus on contractor sales. I never bought anthing at Roseels but I have been there. They did not carry anything larger than the X series when I was there but a friendly staff and good prices. ....

AIS has a segment dedicated to John Deere Compacts, in the Richmond area. Check them out. Tom has a nice selection and good dealer network system set up to find what you need and get it for you. ....
