Does anyone know where you can buy hydraulic quick connect covers in assorted colors (white, yellow, blue, red). I lost one recently, and I can't find them anywhere on the net.

The 'traditional' covers that come from the manufacturers are usually HDPE and break quite readily with age or exposure to cold, or both.

We go about replacements differently.

We got some plastic tubing just bigger ID than the OD of the hydraulic lines, then cut it into pieces ~1" long and slit it open in a spiral and wrap it around each hose according to it's designation. Then we replace the coloured HDPE cheapie caps with good black rubber ones (that ironically sell for the same money) that last forever.

Coloured electrical tape or zip ties work too.

Problem solved.

Best of luck. ....

If it's for the 1/2" size, the address for the plug is http://www.greenfunstore.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=2160

The cap is in the link below ....

I went to the Murf school Dennis. I purchased the generic black rubber plugs/covers, and differentiated the supply/return connectors with red/green cable ties.

I stopped at the local TSC and they only stock the large (1/2 ") dust covers. Guess if I want the little ones on my my B7610 I'll have to take the longer trip to a dealer.

I guess they don't sell many of them as the markup must be lie 500% as they charge about $3 per pack of two males or two females by color. ....
