Seems that shibaura uses a postive ground wiring. The electronics in the lift assembly-board on the fender evidently had a part go bad. I had to bypass the board completely. Seems that the solenoid has external valves that you can press to see if the problem is electric or hydraulic. Found a good mechanic in Milroy IN for Greys that was a big help.

Shibaura's do not use a positive ground. 3 points that have electric over hydraulic solenoids have a common problem with bad amplifier cards. ....
