I just baught a Shibaura SB 1643 4X4. It's kind of rough but runs fine and everything works very well except the lift (3 pt hitch) When I first start it up it will lift a house. The longer I use it the slower and weaker it becomes until about 15 minutes it completely stops working. If I shut it off for 15-20 minutes it does the same thing all over again. Any help would be greatly appreciated. For info it has a new hydraulic pump. H E L P ? ? ? ? ? ?

I'd make sure the hydraulic oil is at a proper level and then check oil in the reservoir when the 3ph is weak. If oil on the dipstick seems frothy, the explanation may be that the suction line is obstructed, and oil is cavitating in the pump. The condition also may be accompanied by excessively hot oil, so I'd see if the high pressure line gets hot. If this is the condition, it's good not to run the tractor for very long. ....
