I just installed a FEL on my 1500. I plumbed the hydraulics tthrough the small high pressure line, and now the rear hydraulics dont work. they worked prior.

Clarification: You cut line. Connected pump side to IN & OUT to back half of line. You have an open center valve without power beyond. ....

Okay. You connected it to the hydraulic manifold block that came on the tractor? I happen to have a 1500 operator's manual. It doesn't really explain it well, but it looks like when you hook up a remote valve you need to turn the screw between the IN & OUT so it is pointing at 5 & 11 o'clock. If you disconnect the loader be sure to turn it to the other position. ....

Oops. Disregard my previous post. I grabbed the 1510 book instead of the 1500 book. Did you fasten the IN hose to the auxiliary service port on the right side of the lift housing cover? Where is the OUT fastened? ....

I posted previously how I connected the FEL. you must have missed it. I cut the high pressure line. then connected the in line of the FEL to the front piece comming from the pump, then connected the out line to the piece of pipe going to the rear of the tractor. ....

That was what I was trying to clarify in my second post. That you had cut the line & connected the OUT to the back half of the cut line. Your post said "the out port going back to transmission ( rear )." I didn't know if it was being dumped directly in the transmission. I've worked with a lot of people with hydraulic problems & it can be hard to determine if we are both on the same page. Did the loader come off of a Ford 1500? It sounds like it is plumbed correct. Did some one close the 3 point lock valve under the seat?

....
