My Shibaura has the numbers S-17 G 1384 KE-35-32014 #1 Can you tell what year and HP tractor I have? #2 Would anyone have a manual for this tractor? #3 My tractor ran great for the 1st hour that I owned it. While doing some heavy box scaper work, it appeared to get hot, loosing a little power, a little water, lots of blow by coming out of the oil filler hole and horrible noises coming from somewhere inside the motor! After a good cool down, I checked all the fluids and tried it again. It still lugs, runs kind of rough, lots of blow by and lots of noise comming from the motor! Would you have any idea as to what went wrong and where I should start looking to find my problem? Thank you very much for your time!!!!!! PS I have since ran a compression check and found the rear cylinder to be down to 220 psi, the front bottoms my tester out at 325 psi.

Ford used Shibaura engine in many of their mid-80's compacts. A New Holland dealer should be able to tell if you've got one of their engines. If so, then a New Holland could supply parts and service assistance. A Ford repair manual also would cover at least the engine. ....
