i have a new holland skidsteer with a shibaura 36 hp 3 cyl engine and need a used engine block for it.. can anyone help find me one or point my the the right derection to find one ...

One direction is googling for NH dealers, who might have a parts unit. Another is to google for a salvage yard that does tractors. Once you locate one, they can post a search on their system. Then there are engine shops that claim to repair blocks.

If you're into trivia, Shibaura is a suburb of Tokyo, and Toshiba is a contraction of Tokyo Shibaura. ....

i have a shibaura v52f shibaura dos't make any motors they buy ford ect and put there name on it contact the pumpguy at thepumpguysc@aol.com he might help you find out the motor type ....

Salvo, it's the other way around--Ford puts their name on it.

Go to the skidsteerforum.com and post a question there.

In my experience it's hard to find skid steer engines that are rebuildable, mainly because they're victims of fire ansd get scrapped.

Messicks.com can help you too but you'll pay handsomely.

Might consider repowering with a sdifferent brand like a Yanmar or Kubota--check out surpluscenter.com
