Hi,
I am trying to find out what horsepower this little tractor has. It is 4wd, red, fits in the back of a regular pickup bed.
Thanks,
Bart

I have the same tractor you do and was told it is 22 hp. I have not been able to get a repair or operators manual for my tractor. If you have found them, please let me know where. We turned the rims around backwards on my tractor and it is now wider and safer, even without an added rop. Works better with a blade and mower also. Stays in place better. Thanks, Docwheels ....

My SHibaura 700D-0 is rated at 22 hp. But don't let that fool you. It is one powerful little machine. Its cylinder displacement is 850cc and she generates a load of torque! The largest machine I operate with it is a Pixall Pull Pix for Beans that is 25' long and weighs a ton. She slings the mechanism with very little effort and picks beans even in a heavy vines or weeds with no problem. Pixall recommends at least 40 hp mainly because of the hydraulics. I connected the picker to my draw bar and adjusted the range of my power lift to not exceed 2" below my pto shaft so as to not damage it. We pick beans at 4 mph 1.5 bushels per minute.

She also slings a 5' cutter well in the first 3 forward gears. Japanese tractors like this one were designed for roto-tilling and have a multiple speed pto. We operate the picker at 540 rpm. We also use a 48" rotary tiller in low gear only. Slow but effective.

This is the toughest tractor I've ever owned. and every part on her cross references to a Ford part, Usually a 1300 Ford.
