Can you change the direction the pto turns on the D1500 Mitsubishi? Or how can I use my 4 ft. bush hog on my little tractor?
Thanks!

John, it will probably be a LOT easier to sharpen the back-sides of the blades on your bush-hog.

Best of luck. ....

Sometimes rotating equipment is designed to turn in one direction. The threads that fasten the gears and blades might have been specifically cut right or left hand so normal rotation keeps things tight. I'd hate to have a blade fly off or a gear slip on the shaft because the nut loosened up.

That's right on some things Blizzard, all though on the mower I think everything is drilled and pined. I know the front yoke is, don't know about the bottom shaft. I think it should be, because when you stall the motor while mowing the forward motion of the blades would be enough to break it free. I think the blades have lock nuts. ....

Isheaffer, I have the pto adapter on already, but how hard is it to install the reverser and how much do they cost. It could come in handy if I ever wanted to run a tiller.
Thanks!

I'm looking at buying a D3200 refurb tractor. Claimed is 38 HP and has 5 forward gears and High, Med. and low ranges. I didn't check the PTO direction. Is this likely a Viet Nam tractor? Better off to find a used engine for my old JD 950? Tired of wrenching.... ....

I can probably make one for it. I would need to know if there the pattern of any bolts on the back of the tractor that could be used for mounting it . Does it have a standard 6 spline pto shaft. You can email me at sheaftractor at grics.net ....
