I recently pruchased a Mitusbishi 200d at auction. It starts and runs like a charm and si the perfect size for our 5 acre horse farm. However, I am having trouble with the 3-point hitch, it will raise, but not lwoere properly. After sitting about 2 weeks the hitch has gradually lowered almost all the way.

I am not very knowledgbable about tractors and have not been able to find an operations manual, just parts manuals.
Does anyone have any suggestions. I want to resolve this and then search for a (preferably used) front end loader.

Many tractors have a knob under the seat that faces forward called the flow control valve. Most flow control valves adjust the lowering speed of the 3ph but don't change the lift speed.

The adjustment is to accommodate different weight implements. If the valve is closed, most lifts can't be lowered and they'll will stay up for a long while especially if there's isn't a load on it. Good chance that's the problem but more later if it's not.
