Could anyone please help me find an outlet for Mitsubishi engine and hydro filters. I do have the "Mitsubishi Genuine Part" numbers. This is for a 4 cyl Cub Cadet 7360ss. The dealer for cub is great guy who just likes to charge at least full msrp for filters. Any and all help would be great.
Thanks
chuck ricker

Ahhhh Yasssss..... The breakfast of champions.

Glad those days are past.

They say you can't really buy beer, all you can do is rent it for a while.

Never did figger out how the foam passes right on through along with the beer. ....

Think I found it at WIX. The number I came up with is 51356. NAPA drops the 5 in front so their number is 1356. BTW: Napa Gold filters are Wix, not sure who makes the silver, but that are a different brand. Possibly rebadged Fram or Champion.

There was a web page of some person who had done alot of tests on filters and it was posted at this site and the bottom line was that there was no difference between silver and gold napa. My Napa dealer states that the paper element in the gold is a little thicker. I believe they are both made by wix I hope that Napa silver is not fram.

I have looked for these Cub filters for seven years I tried a mitsubishi truck dealer once and he could not find the hydro or the air in his book.

However I do work my 27 hp cub commercially so I just chalk it up to the cost of business and buy the filters, except for the oil which I buy from Napa. ....

Wow, what a find I think. I have a Cub Cadet 7234 w/Mitsubishi drivetrain and am getting ready to do the 200 hour check, filters, oil, hydraulic, etc. I thought I would read this Mitsubishi site to see if there was anything about crossing the Mit. filters to something most of us can afford. I went to the Wix site and crossed both the oil and hydraulic filters to Wix numbers, (if they are good numbers that is). Pacesetter said he had the number for oil and it looks like we may have found the 'Missing Link' if the filters are the right size etc. The Wix site also lets you click on the number you find and it brings up the filter specs. I crossed the oil filter MD 134953 to the WIX 51365 and the hydraulic filter, 1964 2509 000 to Wix 57118. Wix is at www.wixfilters.com. Many thanks to Pacesetter. I am going to post this on the Cub Cadet forum as well.
