BOUGHT A DS1320 HINOMOTO TILLER, PTO SHAFT HAS A 6 SPLINE ON THE TRACTOR END AND A 21 SPLINE ON THE OTHER END.
THE STUB SHAFT ON THE TILLER IS A 16 SPLINE METRIC.
DOES ANYONE HAVE INFO ON FINDING A 16 SPLINE PTO OR A
COUPLING TO CHANGE OUT THE 21 SPLINE TO A 16.???

Can't be much help with finding another end but I have seen various spline adapters when doing web searches but thy're mostly for different standards of tractor output pto shafts.

If I've grasp the problem it's that the shaft that came with the tiller doesn't fit on the tiller but it does fit on the tractor. I'd probably see if the manufacturer supplies replacement shafts. If necessary it might be easier to adapt an end for the tractor than for the tiller. Some of the participants here who have machining backgrounds might be able to say how much trouble it'd be to have an adapter made. ....

JIVI; Most any machine shop or weld shop will have access to a supply house that will likely have a replacment yolk that will fit and can change it out just like replacing U-joint bearings as long as the U-joint size is the same. Frank. ....
