Bought a E2304 and the lift doesn't seem to want to go down - can any body help me with this? Also, I need a source for filters and parts - any ideas? Thanks, Mike D

There should be a valve, usually under the seat, that controls the rate of drop for the three point hitch.

If it is closed the hitch will not fall no matter what you do with the lever. ....

I've heard of some models with this problem where the pin in lift cylinder rod broke. Other possibility would be faulty control valve. Email me for parts prices. ....

there is a screen filter for the lift that is washable,,(I dont remember where it is on the transmission) ....
