Im having problems starting my tractor ive already disconnected the fuel rails and i am getting fuel,does any one have any other suggestions. One thing i also notice is i guess its a heater which is mounted behind the fuel pump well i think its a heater not sure but i do remember at times it did use to get hot but now its not could this be causing my promblem. I sure could use a little more troubleshooting skills if any ones able to help please. THANK YOU.

try spraying wd-40 in the air intake as you are cranking the engine.if it try's to start then it is not getting fuel for what ever reason.do not ....

do not use starting fluid as it is hard on diesel engines ....

Ether fluid is not hard on diesels when used in moderation. I used to drive a Perkins diesel in a delivery truck. It was equipped with a HotShot ether delivery system which looked like a small propane bottle. On cold days it took many shots or squirts to get it running.
Now, that said, some tractors I hear have flame-operated heater as described above which I would use caution around. ....

Would u happen to know how to change out the PTO seal on a E14D? I cant get it to come all the way out it stops about 1/4 of a inch out. Thanks. ....
