i have a belarus 862d progress it all running fine etc but hte electrics when i turn on the ground switch the the igtion light doesnt come on and there is not power to anything but the key and the indicators i have just bought it. could be a fuse ? bad earth bad connection ? ? any help would be gratefull thanks mattty.

Matty, welcome to the group!!

First off, any any older machine, take apart and clean all the earth connections.

Secondly, those machines are notorious for folks pulling the wring to bits and starting over. Usually they make a right mess of it too.

They're an odd duck using 24 volts to start and 12 volts for every thing else.

i think ill start with the fuses in the cab and see if tghe alternator works etc and wat about the box inbetween the batteries and is there any other fuses apart from the fuse box and the big one in the batterybox ? ....
